Come learn the basics of creating engaging educational projects and games using the Scratch platform. Scratch is a web-based tool used to create stories, games, and animations with block-based code. The learn more about what’s possible, visit our blog post here. 

We will go over how to import personalized images and sounds to projects to create cause and effect games and simple direction following games. You are welcome to bring your own computer or use one of ours.

The ability to create customized switches using conductive materials will also be reviewed with user-friendly boards such as the Makey Makey and Circuit Playground Express.

Target Audience: parents, family members, special education teachers, occupational therapist, speech therapists, and other interested parties.
