Volunteer
We are looking for a good pair of helping hands. Even if you have only a few hours here and there; we’ll take it. Volunteers are needed to help run some of the after-school programs and clubs. To find out more, email Loreto.
Reuse your Hardware
Have a gently used laptop you’re not sure what to do with? Consider donating it to us. We have created a Tech2Learn initiative with public schools where gently used laptops and mobile devices are refurbished and provided to a student in need. We also help provide students with resources on low cost and free wifi opportunities. To donate your hardware, fill this form.
Tech for Good
Have coding skills? Help us create open-source software to support students with learning needs. Our two open projects include web apps for digital graph paper (help young students with dysgraphia) and digital book conversion for students with reading disabilities. To help out and learn more, join our Slack channel. Send an email to loreto@zeroday.camp to receive an invite link.
DIY Assistive Technology
We are aiming to connect the maker community, disability professionals, and AT users through our support of the NYC Metro Makers Making Change chapter. You can help by:
- Joining the MMC Slack workspace to volunteer to make or request a design.
- Sign up for the newsletter to find out about upcoming build events.
- Please consider making a donation to keep this project growing.
