MakerSpace NYC: Sunset Park, Brooklyn
Join the NYC Metro chapter of Makers Making Change for our annual toy adapting hackathon. We will be modifying existing toys to make them more accessible and usable for children with disabilities giving them access to play! In addition, we will be fabricating 3D printed switches that will accompany the toy.
All skill levels are welcome to attend. We will be soldering! No young children may attend. Please let us know during the registration process if you require accommodations.
The cost of registration covers the cost of the toy and switch components. All needed equipment and supplies will be provided. Participants are welcome to take the toy and switch with them or donate to a local organization.
