Summer Camp 2019

Come join us for a summer of making and creating. Each camp day runs from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm with extended day available until 5:30 pm. Each week has its own unique theme with activities built around the theme. Activities are planned around student interests with time built in for outdoor play (weather permitting). Most weeks also include a field trip to a theme related venue.

Game Maker Workshop

Dates: 8/19 – 8/23/2019

This week we take play to the next level as we embark on a journey to learn what makes games fun! We’re going to design, test, and make our own board games, including: writing the rules, designing the art, and producing boards, boxes, tokens or other game pieces. Campers will work with color printers, 3d printers, programmable paper cutters, and any electronics they need to complete their projects. We’ll also have some time to apply our principles of game design to building smaller video games in Scratch and with the Phaser Javascript game platform.
